I ignored a call from 01423 299081 and had a look them up after. Sometimes I think these calls just want you to pick up so they know the line is working. I usually don’t bother answering calls from numbers I don’t know.

Saw the number showing up as unknown, so I let it ring a couple times before picking up. The moment I answered, they just dropped the call. Seems like one of those spammy telemarketers. Lucky I wasn’t quick to answer or I’d ha e ended up talking to one of those call centre spammers.

Got calls from Currys call centre a while back. I decided not to extend the 3 year warranty on my dehumidifier, but they kept emailing and ringing me despite me saying I wasn't interested. They phoned me, said just “bye” and then quickly ended the call.

Got a call from someone who sounded like they were in a call centre, there was that typical background noise. The bloke said he was “John from Curry’s.” I don’t shop there, so I just ended the call straight away.
