On the 11th of October 2025, I got a voicemail on our home phone from 01422 314340 about an invoice from July that supposedly hasn’t been paid. I’m almost certain this was a scam, so watch out!

I got tricked by the scam a while back but later found out I don’t owe anything to my phone company. The bank was really supportive and now I’ve got the scammer’s name. Turns out there are loads of Facebook profiles connected to them. If anyone else has been caught out, the name is Dean Clough Mills. Might help someone.

I received a dodgy call from someone claiming I owe Three some cash. This isn't the first time I've had this sort of nonsense - another caller tried the same trick. I've got written confirmation from Three stating that I don't owe them a penny, and they’ve clarified they don’t engage external debt collection agencies. I've taken the liberty of reporting this to the police, and they've logged it as a criminal matter.

I’ve dealt with 3G and it’s just irritating. They get in touch and then bump up your monthly fees. When you try to end the contract ‘cause of those hikes, they share your details with CRS who call non stop pretending to be 3G. Honestly, the best thing is to just ignore them and say you’ll handle it in court if needed. 3G used to be decent but for the last few years it’s been nothing but taking money from folks. No signal, no decent internet, no uploads anywhere. Total rubbish.
