Phone number ☎️ 01422307578 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance number linked to market research calls, often claiming to represent banks, utility regulators, or local councils. I've been receiving calls from this number at home, and it's rather perplexing. I thought it was supposed to be managed by my BT call minder, yet some calls manage to slip through the cracks. How is that even possible?

We've got a BT phone that lets you screen calls and this time a bloke rang but was just mumbling a name. So, I sent him to the answering machine, but he didn't bother leaving a message. Guess it wasn't that important then. If it was, they'll probably call back and actually leave one.

Someone named "Zara" rang our home phone around 8.30pm tonight. She claimed to be from Teamsearch and wanted me to take part in a survey about my shopping habits. I told her no way and mentioned that we’re on the Telephone Preference Service, so she shouldn’t be calling us. I asked her to remove our number from their list, and she said she would. Later, I checked the TPS site to report the call but found out that market research calls aren’t covered by their rules. They suggest reaching out to the Market Research Society if the calls keep coming.

Right now I'm living in Greece and have zero links to the UK. When this number called me at first, I was a bit intrigued but didn’t answer. They've been ringing me for more than three days straight and I just decline every call. No idea where they got my number from or what their aim is, but honestly, it feels like harassment. The caller said her name was Lucy Gibson, at least thats what came up when Talk Talk caught the call. I use this free service from Talk Talk, which is my phone provider. On my online Talk Talk account I put together a safe list of numbers, so my mates and family ring straight through without trouble. Everyone else gets stopped & they have to say who they are before the call goes through. Since I’ve never heard of a Lucy Gibson, I just declined the call.

Yeah, it’s probly just market research, they’re not callin to scam anyone, just doing a survey for the businesses they represent. Got a call from a woman claiming she was doing a survey about abortion laws on the Isle of Man. The questions were super rushed and worded in a really confusing way, no chance to properly think about my answers. Got a call asking for the MD, lady claimed she was ringing from the Government. Later found out it was just some market research scam. Blocked straight away.

16/01/2018 My wife picked up the phone and the person said they were from Clydesdale Bank looking for me. When I rang the number back, it went to an answer service saying "Teamsearch Fieldwork Services" and that they'd ring again soon. Feels like some sort of survey company to me.

On 12/01/18 I got a call from the number 01422307578 claiming to be doing a survey about the merger of Babergh and Mid-Suffolk District Councils. I went along with it but now I’m not sure what it was really about. Can anyone shed some light on this?

On 11th January 2018 around 7.15pm, I got a call from someone claiming to be with Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council. The number seemed to be from Halifax, which struck me as odd for my local council to be phoning from so far away, especially this late in the evening. Definitely seemed fishy, so I’ve blocked the number.

I received a call from this number at quarter past eight on Friday, 5th January 2018. It was a rather rapid-fire survey concerning the councils in the Mid Suffolk/Babergh area. The questions came at me so quickly that I barely had a moment to gather my thoughts between them; it felt entirely scripted. They were keen on obtaining contact details of others who might be interested in participating, which I found quite intrusive. First off, it wasn’t exactly the best time for a call, secondly, there was no chance to think through my responses, and lastly, they're unlikely to be collecting the accurate insights their clients truly require.

Got a call from a Halifax number claiming they were from Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council, asking some questions about the local area. I didn’t carry on with the chat though. It’s odd, why would someone from a Halifax dialling code be ringing on behalf of that council? They said they don’t send anything through the post and that all replies have to be done over the phone. Bit strange if you ask me!!!!!!!

It seems this number is linked to Lloyds Bank, yet it appears as though it's flagged as a fraudulent one. Quite the odd situation, isn't it?
