The individual on the other end of the line initially asserted that he was representing some fictitious 'regulatory body' affiliated with the so-called 'UKIG', which, to my knowledge, is a complete fabrication. When I questioned his credentials, he quickly altered his wording, insisting that he belonged to a 'regulated body'. It’s clear that this call is a scam, as the caller has grossly misrepresented the nature of their organisation.

When I informed him that I had no such accident, he insisted that some UK insurance database indicated otherwise. Naturally, I pressed for proof of his claims, and to my utter astonishment, he simply hung up! It’s astonishing how these unscrupulous individuals operate without any repercussions. Why on earth is this type of misconduct still commonplace? We need urgent legislation to put an end to their deceitful practices.

Just the usual nonsense trying to act like they’re aware of a car accident I’ve never had. When I questioned them, saying, “You can’t possibly know I’ve been in an accident, can you?” they had the audacity to call me “mate.” So I replied, “Mate?” to which they obnoxiously reiterated, “YEAH MATE!” They seem to think they can refuse to take my number off their system until they can behave like a grown-up. Well, let’s see who really behaves maturely when I put in a Subject Access Request and get them in hot water for breaching Section 6 of the GDPR. They’ve no right whatsoever to hold or use my information without my consent, and they’ve obtained it improperly!
