Just got a quick ring then it stopped, no voicemail or anything. Seeing what others say here, I think I’ll just block that number straight away.

So it’s this ‘claims direct’ lot who keep buzzing me non-stop, even after I’ve told them to quit or asked to be taken off their list! They just ring from numbers that look nearly the same. I’ve blocked about 4 or 5 numbers, all linked to the same bunch. Honestly, they’re proper annoying and make me want to lose my temper big time. I’m not proud to say it, but I’d be tempted to give them a piece of my mind for being such pests.

Had a call from a lady speaking with a foreign accent, she said she was from auto assist and wanted to talk about an accident I supposedly had. I’ve never been in any crash, so this felt dodgy right away. I searched for Auto Assist online and couldn’t find anything recent about them dealing with accidents. Clearly a scam trying to trick people!

Got a call from some bloke saying he was with auto assist, asking if I’d been in a car crash in the UK and if I’d claimed any compensation. When I asked him for specifics like where it happened, when it was, and the car’s registration, he got all defensive and said he didn’t have any of that info. I told him to ring back only when he can give me exact details - like the make, model, date and time of the accident. Otherwise, I warned him I’d be reporting them to the IPS.

Got a call from someone saying I’d been involved in an accident. I honestly don’t believe they’re actually calling from Glasgow, even though the number started with 0141. Just be careful and don’t hand over any details to these scam artists. When I spoke to the caller, I told them how pathetic it is to spend their only life trying to trick others. They’re nothing but criminals.

This number rang me up claiming I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault. As soon as I told them that wasn’t true, they just cut the call straight away. Seems really suspicious to me.

This number popped up on my phone but when I tried calling back, it just wouldn’t go through. If I’d picked up the call, I’m sure it would’ve been like those usual ones about some accident I supposedly been in - problem is, I’ve never even had a car! Usually, I let them go on so I can ask where they got my info from, and that’s when the convo just crumbles.

I missed the call since it came through twice very quickly while I was at work, and there was no voicemail left. Reading through the other comments, I'm quite relieved I didn't pick up. If a number is known to be a bothersome caller, there should be a way to block them from calling again.
