I got a call from 01417690148 with someone claiming I’d been involved in an accident. I told them I hadn’t and asked where they were calling from and if they could take my number off their list. The bloke got really rude then just hung up. Tried ringing back a few times but just got no answer or was told ‘lines busy.’ I’ve blocked the number now and just wanna warn others - total con artists, don’t trust them!

They rang me a while back and just dropped the call as soon as I said I'd got written proof saying my claim was sorted. Now they come back with, "Mrs ######, we acknowledge that your repair claim was all wrapped up and you got confirmation in writing." I don't get it, why bother calling if the claim’s not fully done and dusted when something’s still outstanding?

I've been getting loads of calls from numbers starting with 0141 769, but the last few digits keep shifting. It kicked off at 0141 769 0141, then switched to 0142, and now it’s gone up to 0147. I picked up a few times, with them claiming I’d been in some kind of crash, but today the caller just stayed silent and then ended the call. Feels like someone's seriously messing with GDPR here!

I got a call from a Glasgow number saying they were from "Auto Assess" and claimed I'd had a car accident and wanted to "help me out". I mentioned I’m on the telephone preference service, but they kept insisting I wasn’t registered and wondered how they got hold of me. Another time, I even blew a whistle into the phone just to annoy them, yet they just ignored it and switched straight into their sales spiel. Sounds like a bunch of paid muppets. Definitely steer clear of these lot!

Lately, I’ve been getting loads of calls from numbers starting with 0141, the most recent being ‭0141 769 0146‬!! They all say they’re from some car insurance company, trying to talk about an accident I supposedly had in the past two years. But I haven’t had any accidents at all. Today, this one guy actually talked for ages, which is odd because usually they hang up straight away when I mention something like “oh, was that the crash where my cousin got hurt?” This time, he told me I could claim about £1800 and that I wouldn’t need to give my bank details because they’d post a cheque instead. Sure, right. No way am I sharing my address. The moment I told him I hadn’t been in any accident, he just cut off. Honestly, these calls are such a pain!
