Got a call today from someone using my first name, said they were from Mobiles[###] and told me I could upgrade my phone. I know for a fact I’m not eligible for an upgrade for another two years, so it really felt like a scam. Felt a bit sketchy, tbh.

Loads of dodgy calls from different Glasgow numbers lately and I’m getting well fed up. I didn’t answer this time and just blocked the number straight away. Even after blocking, I keep getting calls from other Glasgow numbers, like today I got one from 0141 769 0008 which seemed super dodgy too. Just ignoring and blocking them now.

Funny thing about this supposed car crash they mentioned - I’ve never even been in one! When I tried to get more info, they said something about it happening in the last two years? I asked if they were just checking or making a statement, and they said they were asking! I then told them I’m on the TPS list and that what they’re doing is illegal, and just like that, they ended the call.

I just got a call from someone saying they were Jenny Rein from IG Insurance or some legal department in Glasgow - but they wouldn’t give a proper address or even the name of their supervisor. Sounds like one of those dodgy fake car accident scams to me. Is there any way to report these scam callers to the cops and maybe get them fined or even locked up? It’s really frustrating!

Just got outta surgery and saw loads of missed calls. When I finally answered, I said I’d just had surgery. The person goes, “Did it go funky? You can make a claim?” Honestly, can’t repeat what I told them here, but it wasn’t very polite!

Got a missed call earlier and straight away guessed it was one of those accident claim firms from Glasgow ringing again. They keep calling about some accident I supposedly had recently. I block each number as they ring, but they never seem to stick to the same one. It's usually a 0141 area code, often starting with 0141769. Proper annoying! Wish there was a way on phones to flag numbers and have them reported directly to the TPS or something similar.
