Got a call today from someone using my first name, said they were from Mobiles[###] and told me I could upgrade my phone. I know for a fact I’m not eligible for an upgrade for another two years, so it really felt like a scam. Felt a bit sketchy, tbh.

Loads of dodgy calls from different Glasgow numbers lately and I’m getting well fed up. I didn’t answer this time and just blocked the number straight away. Even after blocking, I keep getting calls from other Glasgow numbers, like today I got one from 0141 769 0008 which seemed super dodgy too. Just ignoring and blocking them now.

Funny thing about this supposed car crash they mentioned - I’ve never even been in one! When I tried to get more info, they said something about it happening in the last two years? I asked if they were just checking or making a statement, and they said they were asking! I then told them I’m on the TPS list and that what they’re doing is illegal, and just like that, they ended the call.

I just got a call from someone saying they were Jenny Rein from IG Insurance or some legal department in Glasgow - but they wouldn’t give a proper address or even the name of their supervisor. Just got outta surgery and saw loads of missed calls. When I finally answered, I said I’d just had surgery. The person goes, “Did it go funky? You can make a claim?” Honestly, can’t repeat what I told them here, but it wasn’t very polite!

Got a missed call earlier and straight away guessed it was one of those accident claim firms from Glasgow ringing again. They keep calling about some accident I supposedly had recently. I block each number as they ring, but they never seem to stick to the same one. It's usually a 0141 area code, often starting with 0141769. Proper annoying! Wish there was a way on phones to flag numbers and have them reported directly to the TPS or something similar.
