Got a call around 6:20pm from a lady who didn’t have a Glasgow accent, more like she was Indian. She was tryin’ to tell me I was owed compensation for a road traffic accident or something, but couldn’t provide any clear info about the accident or the company she was with. Just a heads up to anyone who gets a call from this number: don’t even bother answerin’, and if you do, definitely don’t share any personal info or bank stuff with them. Better to just block and move on.

I'm so sick of these calls about some car crash that never even happened! They ring me every couple of days. Even when I block one number, they just switch to a new 0141 one. It's total harassment at this point. Wish there was some way to report them and put an end to it once and for all!

I got a call where they claimed someone told them I'd been in a car crash. When I denied it and asked who told them that, they just ended up playing a recorded message saying they'd remove me from their directory.

So these people keep ringing me loads about some accident I’m meant to have been in, which I haven’t. A few times when I asked if they were alright, they just hung up on me! I block the numbers each time but they just come back with new ones that are almost the same, just changing the last digits. It’s really annoying.

So I got a call on my mobile from some number saying "Hi, this is ###### from ###### about your little traffic accident." I never actually caught the person's name or what company they were with. When I tried ringing them back, it just rang once and then cut off, like they'd blocked me or something. I ended up hanging up and blocking their number as well.

A woman called me and knew my name, but she wouldn’t say why she was ringing. I was driving then and couldn’t catch everything properly, so I told her that. They offered to ring back in an hour’s time. When I got back home, I looked up who had called me and found out it’s a dodgy scam. I haven’t had any accidents and there’s no reason for me to be on any list like that! Both my mobile and landline are on the TPS register. I’ve blocked the number, but I’m certain they’ll try again, probably using a different 0141 number like before.

I got a call about a car crash and honestly it was pretty awful. The woman on the line was hopeless - couldn’t handle a phone conversation let alone talk about a car accident properly. If scammers want to ring me, they should all take notes cause they do a way better job! I caught on straight away - she seriously needs some confidence. Come on, show some energy! Your body language counts even over the phone, and you sounded so downbeat. How about asking how my day’s been? The whole scam training must be a joke, honestly! They could put in way more effort and certainly improve!
