Got a call from an Asian guy claiming to be from Claims Direct about some minor accident. He never bothered to check who I was, so I asked who was calling. Then he suddenly said my name, but I told him straight away he had the wrong number. After that he got rude and started shouting, then told me to block his number and put him on loudspeaker to rant. Received a dodgy call earlier today purporting to be from an insurance company. The caller, a woman, said she was from Accidents Direct or something along those lines and even addressed me by name. Her accent was quite discernible, leaning heavily towards Indian or Pakistani, which made me feel uneasy. I'd certainly advise against engaging with this number-it seems quite suspect to me.

Got a call from someone saying they're from an insurance company. They've tried ringing me before but I never picked up, today I did. They started off talking about the pandemic like it was normal chat, then went straight into some 'accident' I supposedly had. I told them loud and clear there was no accident! They insisted they had the details and that I was wrong. I just hung up. These days I have to block all calls - if it’s important, they can email or send letters. Proper scammers. They even tried to fake an accent, and it was awful!

Got a call on my mobile at 11:10 about some accident claim, I told the bloke I didn't own a car, maybe it was from when I was a passenger, but he said he had the wrong number and was "wasting his time" then I just ended the call. Watch out if you see this number popping up on your caller ID.
