Yesterday I got called twice by what seemed like spam. I ended the call straight away, thinking it was some sort of scam. I blocked the first number, but then I got another call from a number that was almost the same, so I blocked that one too. Seriously, can’t these scammers be tracked down and stopped? I received a rather unsettling phone call last night from a woman claiming, "I’m calling about the accident you’ve been involved in." Truth be told, it’s been ages since I faced any such incident! I genuinely struggled to grasp what she was on about and had to request her to repeat herself not once, but twice. It’s incredibly frustrating to be bothered by such calls, especially amidst a global pandemic!

I got a call from some supposedly legal team at Auto Assist about a claimed car crash where someone supposedly hit my vehicle. Pretty obvious it was a phishing trick. I did get a kick out of it since someone actually did sideswipe my parked car. When they asked how bad the damage was, I told them that aside from the person’s bruised pride, all I had to do was clean their face print off my car window. Honestly, I can’t figure out how he missed a huge blue van. X

Got a call out of the blue about some accident. The person first said they were from the AA, but when I questioned that, they switched to saying they were with the legal team at Auto Assist. I asked the bloke, David, where he was calling from and he said Edinburgh. So I asked why the number showed Glasgow. He just kinda said oh! Then I asked if this was a dodgy call, and he hung up straight away.

Lately, I've been getting these annoying calls a lot more often. The lines are always really noisy and busy, and the person usually has a foreign accent which makes it tough to understand them straight away. They always start with something about an accident you supposedly had some time ago.
