Oh, here we go again with those dodgy car accident scammers! I received a call from this chap with an Indian accent who insisted that I’d been in a car crash that I had no part in. He prattled on about completing some kind of form to do with the so-called incident. I quickly realised what was going on and let him know I was onto his game. Not long after, I made sure to block his number.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach, asking if my internet was cutting in and out. They asked me to run a speed test and gave me a website to visit. I had a quick glance at the site, and when it asked for my permission to continue, I immediately thought something wasn’t right. I was pretty sure it was a scam from the start but wanted to see what they were up to.

I tried ringing the number back but it just went straight to a load of beeping noises, like someone picked up and was dialling something else at the same time.
