The call began with, "Hi, I'm David." (Yeah right, sure you are, mate.) He claimed I’d been in a car crash. I asked him which car and when it supposedly happened. Seems he had no clue about either. I told him to take a hike, something impossible and downright creepy, then hung up and blacklisted the number. What a bloody scammer!

I was already chatting on another phone call when this number popped up, so I ignored it. There wasn’t any voicemail left, so I gave it a ring back. It went right into hold music, with some American guy saying how my call was important and to wait for the next free operator. They never said who they were or what they wanted, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.
