I received a rather baffling call from what seemed to be a so-called Road Helpline. They informed me that I had been involved in a car crash and sustained injuries within the past couple of years. Naturally, I was puzzled and inquired about the source of this nonsense, and wouldn’t you know it, they claimed to have got their information from the Road Traffic Authorities! It’s utterly ludicrous-just another daft scam if you ask me.

Lately, I keep getting calls from this number 0141 739 0025 or something very similar. They kick off with their usual sales patter, and I always tell them to remove me from their list. Still, they just keep on ringing, trying to get me hooked. Such a pain!

Got a call from some bloke asking about a crash I supposedly had two years back, which is mad because I’ve never been in any accident. Told him to take me off their list and he just told me to F##k off, which honestly made me chuckle. He kept swearing and I kept laughing until I had to end the call. These lot are such a hassle. I usually just ignore their calls and block the number straight away. But annoyingly, they come back a few days later with a number that looks almost the same. Best thing is to let it ring without picking up, then block it again. If you do end up picking up, don’t say your name or anything about yourself. Sometimes they ask for you by name, just tell them they’ve got the wrong person. Honestly, I avoid answering altogether and just block them right off.

He verified my name, which happens to belong to my relative who actually bought the phone and contract for me. Odd, right? I attempted to ring back, but surprise, surprise - the number isn’t valid. Clearly, this is nothing but a nuisance and a blatant spam call!

I received a call from a gentleman informing me that I’d been involved in a small car accident, and right after he verified my name-strangely enough, it's actually the name of a family member who got the phone and contract for me-he abruptly hung up. When I attempted to return the call, it turned out to be an untraceable number. Clearly, this is nothing more than a scam and a complete irritation!
