Got a call on my phone while I was driving so couldn’t pick up, and it was buried deep in my bag anyway. When I finally checked, the number looked familiar - pretty sure it was one I’d blocked on my home phone last week. It was one of those accident claim chasers, but I told them straight: ‘No idea, I can’t drive and never owned a car’. Seems like they were telling porkies for sure. I’m gonna block it on my mobile now as well. Both my mobiles are signed up to the TPS, but honestly, it doesn’t seem to stop much at all!

Thought it was just some random spam or scam. They rang my elderly folks. After seeing what others said, I’ve blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a woman who wouldn’t say which company she was from, just said she wanted to check if I qualified for any government benefits. Had the same kind of call last year too. We already know what benefits we’re eligible for, so not bothered, but the thing is, we’re ex-directory, so how the heck do they have our number?
