Got a call claiming I’d been in a car crash. I played it cool, told them I don’t even drive, hoping they’d drop it. But they somehow knew I had a car insured and even rattled off the address it was registered to. Then they just cut me off and blocked their number. Total scam, obviously.

Got a call at first about a car accident, then they switched the story saying maybe it happened before, I told them no right away. After that, they claimed a friend or family member had an accident using my info. When I asked more, they said the calls are recorded - I just laughed and said there’s no way that’s true. Then they just hung up! Pretty sure that’ll be the last call I get from them 😆

Got a call from someone saying they were from “Claims Direct” about a car crash I’d supposedly been involved in over the past couple of years. I said I hadn’t been in any. Then they asked if maybe I was a passenger in an accident? I repeated I wasn’t involved at all and ended the call. Honestly, I’m done trying to reason with these people. When I do have the time, I plan to turn the tables and waste their time as much as they try to waste mine!
