Finally got through to someone who was clearly not from Glasgow, sounded like a call routing thing. The person said they’d been in a car crash and insisted I had no legs and wasn’t driving, saying I must’ve been a passenger. I told them I’m stuck at home and can’t go anywhere, never mind get in a car. Then, out of nowhere, they said they’d dialled the wrong number even though they knew my name. They appear to be making unsolicited calls to inquire if you’ve been involved in a car accident, likely to assist in any claims you might wish to pursue-if you've indeed had an incident, that is. The chap I communicated with introduced himself as Rodney Plack (not sure about the spelling) and claimed to be situated in Edinburgh, though the number that rang me was from Glasgow.
