Could hardly make out what she was saying cos the line was so bad, but it was a woman again asking about some car insurance related to an accident I never had. This is like the fifth time this year I’ve been called about a car crash, and I dont even have a car! Told her id be reporting the number. Getting proper tired of these calls, especially since my number’s already on the TPS. No clue how else to block them. They must be fishing with some random number dialler or summat.

A woman rang me up saying she was contacting me about my washing machine’s warranty, saying it had run out. Bit unlikely, since the machine is under a year old and comes with a 2 year warranty. When I asked where the warranty team was based, she said Leeds, but the number showed it was coming from Glasgow - clearly a fake number being shown. Seems like a total scam, probably trying to get my bank or card details to renew the warranty. When I told her it sounded dodgy, she just hung up on me.

Someone called me about renewing my insurance for the washing machine. They phoned twice, first yesterday and again today, and seemed to know my name already. The chap on the first call mentioned it covered every machine from the Whirlpool group but couldn’t say exactly what model I had or how old it was.
