On the 13th of June 2022 around 5:47 pm, I got a call on my old contract sim from this number 01414890701. Later, on the 16th of June, another call came from a similar number, 01414890705, hitting my sim twice back-to-back at about 4:34 and 4:35 pm. Quite odd how they kept trying!

Got a call on my mobile on the 12th of June last year from the number 0141 489 0701, and it flashed up as Potential Fraud on my caller ID. I did a bit of digging online and couldn’t find any company linked to that number. So, I tried looking it up here and discovered it was registered on the 11th of May, 2022. I have a strong hunch this is a dodgy number, especially since I’ve been bombarded with scam calls lately about all sorts of fraudulent nonsense. I opted not to answer it, and I’d recommend others do the same.

This housing repair lot won't stop ringing me, always switching the last few digits of their phone number. They keep saying my name's Vanessa and tryin’ to trick me into giving my real details. I've blocked loads of their numbers but they still get through by fiddling with the final digits or calling from mobiles. They seem really persistent, these housing repair folks. And they ring pretty late too - around 7 in the evening. Do they even know how housing associations work? Everyone clears off by 4pm!

As soon as I got a call from Scotland, I asked the lady, who didn’t speak English very well, if she’d ever seen the Loch Ness monster. She just hung up straight away, so I never got my answer. Bit rude if you ask me.

I've been inundated with calls from this number about some so-called "housing repair" nonsense. I've repeatedly informed them that I'm not a homeowner, yet they persist in harassing me. Just this morning, I received another call, and when I picked up, I was met with nothing but silence. A right palaver! When I attempted to ring them back, the number didn't even show up as familiar. When they called again, it was the same old trick - silence! Finally, they picked up, and I firmly told them to cease calling me. They hung up in a jiffy! I've finally had enough and blocked the number. What a nuisance!

I've been dealing with some housing disrepair issues and something strange happened - they knew my name already. Just to be clear, this isn't about race since I'm a migrant myself, but the person sounded like they had an Indian accent, which made me a bit wary.

They rang me right as I was about to nod off after a grueling 14-hour night shift, and I was proper annoyed. I snapped at the bloke with the Indian accent and told him, loud and clear, to never phone me again and to remove me from their calling list.

i got a call from someone saying they were with "the housing repair department," like it’s some big thing covering every council and housing association out there. honestly, no clue this department was even a thing! they got my name wrong and kept asking if i was a tenant or leaseholder - isn’t that info the council’s job to know? as soon as i flipped the script and asked back, they just hung up on me. pretty fishy if you ask me.
