Received a call on the 27th of January, 2023. The person on the line claimed to be from 02, touting some special offer. When I quizzed them about how they had gotten hold of my number, they asserted, "We're your phone provider." I clarified that they were mistaken as I wasn’t with them. This seemed to perplex the caller, who then asked me which provider I did use. I chose not to divulge that information. Shortly after, the caller abruptly ended the conversation.

Just got a call about my mobile contract, and when I asked who it was with, the bloke said EE. Thing is, I’m not even with EE! Told him straight up if I ever happen to bump into him, he’d be in for a right smack. Total scammer.

Had a dodgy call from someone saying they were from O2, offering some kind of discount deal. They asked me security questions like they were legit, then went ahead and made an order pretending to be me. Instead of a discount, I got a phone delivered. Then they tried to do a "refund" that never came through, leaving me stuck with the phone and the payment. I’ve reported it to O2 and now they’re looking into it. Proper shady!

The caller disconnected abruptly, likely upon noticing it was an international ringing tone. I suspect it might be some sort of scam since I wasn’t anticipating any calls from Glasgow.

I had a distressing telephone call from someone claiming to be from O2. They mentioned that I’d be receiving a couple of text messages shortly, one of which would contain a code. They specifically warned me to keep this code a secret and never disclose it if anyone were to inquire about it. Seems like a classic scam attempt to me!

Received four rings before the line went dead. I'm not anticipating any calls from Glasgow, to be honest. I tried calling back, but it wouldn't even connect-no dial tone at all. Definitely seems dodgy!

I received a call purporting to be from EE Promotions, claiming I was due for a complimentary upgrade due to my excellent payment history. They seemed rather uninformed when it came to the specifics of my phone model, and after expressing my disinterest in an upgrade, I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.

Claimed to be representatives from Currys PC World. I asked them to take my details off their list in line with GDPR and the Telephone Preference Service. They brushed me off and insisted they weren't obliged to comply. It's clearly a telemarketer operating from overseas-I’ve now blocked their number as spam.

I received a phone call on my mobile, and the person on the other end claimed to be from EE, my supposed "provider," trying to persuade me with a new deal because I’m such a valued customer.
