Got a call on 27th January 2023 supposedly from 02 offering some special offer. When I asked where they got my number from, they said they were my phone provider. I told them that wasn’t true. The person sounded a bit puzzled and asked which company I actually use. I didn’t want to say, and then the caller just ended the call.

Just got a call about my mobile contract, and when I asked who it was with, the bloke said EE. Thing is, I’m not even with EE! Told him straight up if I ever happen to bump into him, he’d be in for a right smack. Total scammer.

Had a dodgy call from someone saying they were from O2, offering some kind of discount deal. They asked me security questions like they were legit, then went ahead and made an order pretending to be me. Instead of a discount, I got a phone delivered. Then they tried to do a "refund" that never came through, leaving me stuck with the phone and the payment. I’ve reported it to O2 and now they’re looking into it. Proper shady!

Somebody rang saying they were from an EE promo and that I could get a free upgrade as a reward for paying my bills on time. They didn’t even seem to know what kind of phone I had. When I told them I wasn’t interested in upgrading, I just ended the call straight away.

The caller claimed to be calling from Currys PC World. I told them to take me off their list because of GDPR and phone regulations. They just brushed me off, saying they weren't obliged to do so. Sounds like a dodgy telemarketer calling from overseas. I've marked the number as spam and blocked it.
