I got a call from someone trying to sell me an iPhone 14 for just £40. Seemed way too dodgy, so I hung up straight away. Then they rang me back again right off the bat. The number showed up on my landline as 1041 489 0116. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be my mobile provider. The lady on the line had a really strange voice, kind of like Jimmy Krankie. I could hardly catch what she was trying to say!

Some bloke ringed me up claiming to be from PhoneHouse, trying to sell me a phone and SIM at a deal that was way too good to be true. He said he'd send me an email with the details, which he did, but the email was dodgy - no proper company info, no logos, just looked fake. Honestly, it's a shame some folks get tricked by these cheeky scams :-(
