I was approached with a tempting 40% reduction on my existing O2 plan, allegedly on behalf of O2 itself. The catch? I've never held a contract with O2! Sounds to me like they were trying to pull a fast one.

I got a call from 01414890102 today, but I ignored it since I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. No voicemail was left either.

The line was all crackly, and the bloke was trying to pitch some deal at half price for a six month period, but I just ended the call.

Some bloke said he was from ‘PC World’ doing some sort of promo. I told him straight up he was trying to scam me and then I just ended the call.
