Got a call from someone with an Indian or Pakistani accent, said it was about some accident I supposedly had, which I definitely didn't. Total scam. Just blocked the number straight away.

Got a missed call and decided to ring back, but an automated message said it was about some unclaimed payout from an accident. Problem is, I haven't had any accidents lately. I'm just a learner driver and have been checking out car insurance quotes online, so maybe they grabbed my number from one of those quote websites or something.

Some bloke called claiming to be from Claims Direct, saying I’d been in a crash that wasn’t my fault. He mentioned I might get a cheque in 6 to 8 weeks. I told him I’d not had any accidents. Then he asked if maybe in the last few years I had one, I said no again. He went on asking about my family having accidents, but I said no to that as well. After that, he just gave up.

Got a call out of the blue saying I was involved in a car accident claim, which I had no clue about! When I said I didn’t remember anything, they acted like I was making it up or being dodgy! Bit cheeky if you ask me, so I just ended the call. They rang me on my mobile, by the way!

I got a call from a woman named Michelle, who had a really noticeable Asian accent. She claimed she was ringing from Claims Direct about some payout I supposedly was owed, something like £1200 to £2500. I’ve never heard of the company before and definitely don't have any claims ongoing, so I just told her to get lost and hung up.
