Got one of those accident scam calls today. I said I ran over a unicorn. They burst out laughing and said unicorns don’t even exist these days!

I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, especially when it’s about insurance or stuff like that. If I don’t know the number, I just let it ring out. Avoids all the hassle, honestly.

So these accident insurance scammers are something else. I like to mess with them by asking how they even found out so quickly. It seems to throw them off. I tell them my car’s flipped over and that I’m just waiting on an ambulance. I even ask them to stay on the line so I’m not lonely till help gets here. Bit of fun and another name crossed off their list! 😂

I got a call from this number claiming they were from Claims Direct. They said I’d been involved in a car accident while driving, which is rubbish as I don’t even drive. Then they switched it up and said I was a passenger in the crash instead. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

This definitely feels like a dodgy scam to me. I didn’t bother ringing them back at all. Fake car insurance rings a bell - sounds like they’re just trying to catch someone who’s been in a crash or something. Proper businesses wouldn’t go around calling you out of the blue without sending a text first to prove who they are and give some info. Pure spam, if you ask me.

Got a call about some accident and a chance to claim for damages. I asked where they found my phone number, and they said it was from some national accident database. I told them to buzz off and ended the call, since I've never been involved in any accident.
