Got a call about some car crash again, bit unusual cos it was from Glasgow this time, not the usual Liverpool. Honestly, blocking those numbers is pointless, I've had loads from all sorts of different ones. They seriously ought to be put an end to this nonsense.

I got loads of phonecalls about some ‘car crash’ thing so in the end I just blocked the number. Even after that, they keep ringing me, so I had to block them again.

This is the second occasion I've received a call from these folks saying I'm eligible for some sort of claim. When I asked them how they got my info, they were super dodgy about it. They mentioned a 'third party' but when I pointed out that companies aren't allowed to share my details because of data protection laws, they just hung up on me. Definitely scammers!

Got a call from some dodgy number, they barely said who they were but somehow knew about my accident and had some of my info. When I asked them to explain who they actually worked for, they just ended the call. Total scam.

they didnt really say the full name of their business but mentioned something about insurance and an alliance. this was my fourth call from different dodgy companies claiming they could sort out a claim from the little accident i had. they knew loads about me and exactly what happened. i hung up as soon as i asked for proper details about who they were. how on earth do they have all this info? very suspicious!

Got a call from some bloke who described my accident down to the last detail, saying it was the law he had to talk to me. He was proper pushy and kept ringing again and again. He even asked if I’d got any kind of payout and mentioned the name and details of the person at fault. Seemed legit at first, but when I looked up the number, it turns out lots of folks were called about completely unrelated stuff.

constant calls from insurance scammers trying to drum up business. they keep ringing and then share your info with other fraudsters. when i ask them for their official uk trading name and the registered trading number, they usually back off - as by law, that’s them admitting who they are and could land them in trouble.
