Phone rang but no one spoke or left any message. Totally clueless about who it was.

I got a call from this number yesterday and when I picked up, there was nothing but silence before the call suddenly dropped. After reading what others have said, I’m convinced it’s probably one of those scam calls about free boiler grants or something similar. I get tons of these sorts of calls and if someone actually starts talking, I just quickly say “no thank you” and put the phone down. Honestly, I reckon cold calling should be banned altogether.

I've received three calls from this number lately, and every time it's the same monotonous recorded message- "You've been contacted by Homeshield Scotland. All our agents are currently engaged, but we'll reach out again in a few days." It’s exceedingly frustrating! I wasn’t given a chance to indicate that I’m not interested in these nuisance calls, nor to mention my registration with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s just an irritating interruption to my daily routine.

Bloody useless time wasters, honestly.

I'm on the TPS list and my number isn’t listed publicly. Picked up the phone and it just hung up right away. I checked 1471 and saw who it was. Thought it might be genuine since I'm in Glasgow too, but nope - some rubbish robotic message popped up saying they don’t accept incoming calls and to email some totally confusing address if I want to be taken off their list. Absolute rubbish. They can jog on and suffer a slow and painful downfall!

I'm absolutely fed up with these pesky calls that just won't let up. I've repeatedly informed them that I'm not a property owner, and I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service to block such nonsense. Yet here I am, receiving 2 to 3 calls weekly without fail. It’s utterly infuriating! Today alone, I received two calls, one at 1:50 and another at 2:15 pm. What on earth can I do to put an end to this harassment?

Got a call from some ‘Futurecare’ lot in Scotland wanting to chat to my boyfriend. I asked them where they got our number from, wouldn’t give a straight answer. Ended up blocking them using my CPR Call Blocker. Hope we never have to hear from them again on our phone!

Since Friday the 26th of May in 2017, I've had a trio of calls from that number in question. Whenever my BT Call Guardian screens the call and prompts the caller to identify themselves, they simply refuse to reply and then disconnect. I've attempted to ring them back, yet all I get is a recorded message stating that they don’t accept incoming calls. If I wish for these unsolicited calls to cease, I’m advised to email a rather unclear address that’s hard to decipher. It's becoming increasingly bothersome, to say the least!

I received a call from a lady named Lauren on this number, who claimed to represent Homecare Scotland. She mentioned they had funding available for a roof survey and necessary repairs. Strangely, I recall a similar call a few weeks back from Strathclyde Roofing, where the same person offered me an identical service. This feels eerily reminiscent of my last encounter with Strathclyde, during which they made arrangements for a surveyor to assess my roofing situation and provide recommendations without any pressure. At that time, they inquired about my age, whether I owned my home outright, and if there was anyone with power of attorney. Ultimately, no surveyor appeared, leaving me with a sense of unease that I might have been approached by a dubious company.
