Received a call earlier today from someone who didn’t bother to introduce themselves, claiming they were from the housing maintenance team. They were wanting to chat with a Fiona. Well, they were nearly right, but I’m certainly not her! When I pressed them on which housing department they represented, they simply hung up. It’s clear to me this is some sort of scam attempt.

When I inquired about how they managed to get my number, they simply said it was sourced from a national database. Quite baffling, isn’t it? 🤦🏻♀️

I've been noticing this particular number repeatedly cropping up on my landline call log. Honestly, I refuse to pick up the phone for these bothersome calls, so they’re just throwing their time and pennies away.

I've been receiving calls daily for the last week, whether it's in the morning or just after lunch. The caller has a foreign accent, and they hang up after about four or five rings. This is utterly ridiculous and quite bothersome.
