I got a call from someone who said they knew about my "recent" car crash and claimed that since the other driver had accepted fault and the repairs were done, I could still claim compensation. While that was actually correct, I quickly told her it was all settled and no extra money was coming my way. She sounded a bit thrown off by that (I reckon she thought I'd be eager to hear about a payout) before she hung up. I've blocked the number since then.

There really ought to be some sort of law to stop this sort of thing. I’m fed up with it now. Used this site to block the number, so thanks for that. We need to keep flagging these calls so they can be shut down completely. If this number belongs to you, seriously, find a proper job and stop hassling innocent folks.

Got a call from this number but they didn’t leave any voicemail. Real companies usually drop their info if they call. Felt like a scam to me, so blocked it straight away. Tried ringing back and heard a robotic voice with an American accent saying the number’s not in service. Might want to double check before you bother calling.

I received a call from a woman who seemed to be of Indian descent and her command of English was rather lacking. She claimed to be representing a company named MA UK and was inquiring about some sort of recent accident I’d been involved in. It's a constant barrage, isn't it? Ring after ring, day in, day out. You manage to block one bunch of nuisances, and before you know it, they're at it again from a different number. It's high time the authorities took some serious action against these pesky scammers. Honestly, this has gone on for far too long. I couldn't agree more; both the Telephone Preference Service and the Government's efforts seem utterly ineffectual. Despite being ex-directory, I still find myself bombarded by these pesky scammers. Just last week, I received a staggering 27 nuisance calls, all from numbers that were strikingly alike. It’s absolutely ludicrous! I think it’s high time we implemented a system where anyone wishing to acquire a phone number must obtain a licence. If they break the rules, they ought to forfeit that licence permanently. It’s madness; we really need to put an end to this nonsense!
