Got a ring from 141289 tonight. Seems this line is run by Localphone Limited - you can find them easily if you just Google it. I reached out to their complaints team at [email protected] to let them know what's going on. Hopefully, if enough people complain, OFCOM might step in. Fingers crossed it gets sorted out soon!

I got a call from 0141 289 0674, someone claiming to be from motor assist. They started talking about a crash I supposedly had. When I told them they were trying to scam me, they got really rude. I just ended the call and blocked the number. So annoying! 🤬🤬

It’s definitely a scam, loads of calls from Glasgow numbers that all sound the same. They always hang up as soon as you pick up. Tried calling back and ended up with some voicemail saying “outsourcing for you” but no clue what it’s about. Best just to block them!

“Look, I’m only doing what I’m told,” the caller said. “But you’re just trying to scam people who might not be able to defend themselves,” I shot back. “How can that be? I’m just collecting your info to sort out compensation,” was the reply. I keep blocking these numbers, but they just keep ringing me again and again. So far, not a single caller has made a lick of sense!

After I blocked 01315690018, the calls just kept coming, now also from 01412890663. On top of that, I got a threatening letter from some firm called Wescit in Hull. All you get is a voicemail, then loads of pressure to pay these scammers - no chance I’m falling for it. Sorry for the rant, but these con artists really wind me up. I genuinely feel awful for folks who’re lonely enough to be tricked by them. The scammers, though, couldn’t care less unless it's their own nan or grandad. Absolutely gutted but also strangely respectful of the struggle. Stay safe out there and hopefully when things calm down, we can meet up. 🥴🥴😘
