Got a call earlier and my so-called ‘smart’ app flagged the number as a debt collector, which I found odd since I’m not supposed to be getting calls from any of those folks. No clue who actually rang me.

Got calls from what seemed like HMRC, using two different phone numbers over a few days. They told me to press 1 to sort out a ‘case’. This sort of thing could seriously scare or fool people who are more vulnerable. Definitely block them and report it - total scammers!

I had no idea who it could be since nobody I know lives nearby, so I just ignored the call. They didn’t bother to leave a message either, so I ended up blocking the number.
