Then he suggested maybe someone else in the house had an accident. I replied that no one here drives. After that, he just ended the call!

Got a call from someone with a Glaswegian accent sayin' it was about a motor accident. Told the lass to remove my details and not to ring again. Of course, the very next day they were back at it, but luckily I blocked the number quick enough. Definitely a scam. Proper annoyed that I gave my number to some petrol price comparison site - pretty sure that’s why I’ve been getting these calls.

the caller claimed to be from some motor accident claims place. they kept insisting i'd been in an accident and there was a cheque ready for me. but the spot they mentioned wasnt anywhere i had been around that time. they were really pushy about me getting that cheque. I received a call from this number earlier, and they inquired if I was (name). I replied that while it was indeed my maiden name, it wasn't my current one. To my surprise, the rude person on the other end just abruptly ended the call. Quite baffling, really!
