Didn’t recognise the number so I picked up and just left the phone down without saying anything, which I always do with random calls. A Scottish guy asked for me by my first name (quite different from the usual Indian scam calls). I stayed quiet and the caller ended the call after about 14 seconds. I checked the number and saw from other comments that it might be a utility scam. As long as they keep ringing me, I’ll answer without a word; at least it wastes their time and cash instead of targeting someone more gullible.
