This number called me and already had my name and address, claiming to be from an energy firm offering a monthly direct debit deal. I told them twice I wasn’t interested but the bloke kept pushing me to switch providers. After I got quite firm with him, he finally said thanks for my time and hung up. These calls are annoying, but I don’t want to be rude since they’re just doing their job. Why can’t they just take a hint when you say no?

A guy rang claiming to be from EDF Energy. I told him I don’t do cold calls, but he kept going on, saying I'd change my mind if he could save me some cash. He was pretty pushy, talking over me the whole time. I asked nicely for my number to be taken off their list, but he just kept pushing his sales spiel. In the end, I had to hang up and block the number. Proper annoying!
