When I asked the name of the company, he told me, but then ended the call abruptly as soon as I mentioned I was pretty sure I’d dealt with them before. Turns out, this firm got hit with a £250,000 fine last year for not cancelling thousands of customers' accounts even after they’d tried to leave. Not very trustworthy, if you ask me.

When I asked him the company's name, he told me, but then hung up as soon as I mentioned I thought I’d heard from them before. Turns out it's Spark Energy. I also found out they got hit with a £250,000 fine last year because they didn’t properly cancel nearly 29,000 customers who wanted out. Bit dodgy, if you ask me.
