Kept ringing nonstop but no message left, pretty sure it’s one of those scam calls so just a heads up to be careful.

It keeps ringing but they dont bother leaving any message. Real people usually say who they are and what they want. Pretty sure its just some dodgy scammers.

This morning, I got a call from 01412803852 asking if our boiler was working fine and whether we’d made any claims recently. We haven’t had any claims for about two months now. My husband just said to send everything through the post as we don’t like discussing stuff like this on the phone.

My mum got a call from an Asian woman trying to sell some kind of protection plan she never signed up for. I grabbed the phone, told her we weren’t interested and ended the call straight away.

My phone rang but just as I was about to pick up, the caller ended the call. I had a feeling it was some sort of scam even before I bothered to check their number on this site.

The moment he uttered the word "boiler," I recognised it straight away as a dodgy scheme. I mean, who doesn't instantly put two and two together in these situations?

Got a call regarding some home appliance maintenance deal, but they couldn’t even say which firm the contract was with. They wanted to pitch a “better offer”, but when I asked about my current payments or the company, they just had no clue. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone named Peter saying I could get a discount on my boiler and central heating cover - sounded dodgy to me (lol)

Got a call from a polite woman with an accent, sounded Asian, who claimed there was something wrong with my fridge freezer. I thought it was some kind of scam and told her to stop calling me. She replied, “I’ll keep calling you over and over.” I found that pretty annoying and borderline harassment. I noticed this number’s been flagged loads of times with bad reviews, and even shows up as coming from somewhere in Glasgow on the map. Makes me wonder why no one’s done anything to shut the number down or catch whoever’s behind it.

This morning around 10.50 I answered this number and said hello, but the caller just hung up straight away. What a waste of time, I’m gonna block it now.

Reading through the comments, it's clear this is a scam. I've had a few calls lately from different numbers all claiming to be about my washing machine warranty. This time, they just stayed quiet and then hung up on me. I honestly don't get why BT or whoever doesn't just block the number, especially when it's so obvious it's being used for some kind of illegal racket.

They attempted to persuade me into purchasing insurance for my boiler and heating system. What a complete waste of time - it was blatantly a con. They were after my bank details. I told them precisely where to shove it!

What a nuisance of a call! I ended up chatting with them for over a quarter of an hour-purely because I was quite bored, really, and thought I’d drag it out. In the end, they got fed up and hung up on me. Surprisingly entertaining, though; way more engaging than the relentless drivel and spin from the BBC News!

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming it was about boiler insurance. I thought it sounded dodgy so I played along and told him my husband was out so I needed to get the documents. He just hung up after that. Later, I checked the number here and found out it’s known for scams. I’ve since blocked him using my TrueCall gadget, but I noticed he tried ringing a few more times even after the warning message. My TrueCall was only set to block unknown calls because I’d been showing someone how it works. This was the first scam call I've had slip through in ages.

Got a call about my "boiler cover" needing to be renewed - but I don’t even have a policy with them. Plus, the woman said my boiler runs on gas, which it definitely doesn't. I questioned them right away if it was a scam, and she just cut me off straight away. Yep, that’s all I needed to know - this number’s dodgy for sure!

Sounds like a dodgy boiler insurance call...
They had my name and claimed my "boiler cover" was up for renewal. Problem is, I've got no such policy, and my boiler isn't even gas, as they insisted. When I questioned them about their legitimacy, the caller just dropped the line. That's more than sufficient proof for me to deem this number a total SCAM!

I phoned back and weirdly got a voicemail that started in the middle of the word "Technologies." It said sorry there wasn’t an agent free to take my call, promised a callback soon, and told me to ring back if I couldn’t wait. Like I thought, it wasn’t the Amazon scam this time, but just another trick to try and sell me fake white goods insurance and rip me off. It’s from a different number I’ve never seen before (definitely not local to Glasgow) that’s been flooding landlines with dodgy calls these past few days.

Got a call from a woman trying to sell me a renewal for some fridge-freezer insurance that I don’t even have. She asked for the brand and model, so I went to find it, but when I came back she’d already disconnected. Then the same number rang me thrice in a few hours and I just ignored it. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call from a bloke with a strange accent saying our washing machine’s service contract was about to expire, but they were going to renew it for us without any charge for two more years. I told him the machine's been working perfectly fine for the last 12 years and we never even signed up for any service deal. After that, he just cut the call. Definitely felt a bit fishy to me.

I got a call from an Asian guy who asked if he was talking to Mr (my name). I said no, then he asked who he was speaking to. I said no to that as well, then asked him who he was. He just said no and ended the call. Strange experience!

I got a call from a lady named Kate who spoke with an Indian accent. She told me they had seen I hadn’t made any claims on my boiler insurance for a whole year and so they were planning to lower my monthly payments. I was like, “oh, okay then,” and she just ended the call right after that!

I kept getting calls and hanging up, and eventually found out they were selling life insurance. This reminds me of when I got car insurance from Aviva - same annoying thing happened. Just a heads up, if you’re with Aviva, expect some foreign person bugging you constantly!

I got a call from someone claiming I'd put in my info somewhere, which I definitely hadn't. Then they started talking about some £10,000 and an Apple iPad, which really confused me. When I asked them to verify my details, I just ended up hanging up right away.
