Today, I received a pair of calls on my mobile from the number 0141 280 0429. The first call ended abruptly as the caller hung up right after I answered, while I completely missed the second one. I'm left wondering whether this number might be linked to 0141 4470654, which I got calls from back in April 2022. Now, I distinctly recall a gentleman on that occasion who was trying to sell me some sort of savings cover for my television. He seemed to know I had a washing machine policy but was clueless about the brand I owned. I ended up suggesting he wrap up the call since he clearly had my name but seemed to be misrepresenting himself. Oddly enough, I hadn't heard from them until now-if these two numbers are indeed related, it raises some eyebrows.
