total scam! got a robocall claiming i had an arrest warrant for tax evasion and to press 1 or else i'd be in big trouble. normally i just hang up and block the number straight away, but this time i pressed 1 out of curiosity. after some music, a woman answered, saying, "thank you for calling hmrc, how can i help?" she tried to do a scottish accent since the call showed glasgow, but it was clearly an indian accent. i kept it short and blunt with "just piss off, scammers". then blocked the number for good.

Got a call from someone in a call centre, sounded like an Indian woman, she asked if I was Mr Abadias. Told her I wasn’t.

About half an hour ago, this number popped up on my phone. I ignored it straight away since unknown numbers often turn out to be scams, and this wasn’t saved in my contacts. This has happened a few times already, and I usually just let it ring out. Definitely pleased I decided to check it out online afterwards.

I've been getting loads of dodgy calls from this number, feels like a scam to me. Definitely a good idea to block it - seems like they're using some sort of automatic system to try and trick you into giving out your personal info. Total fraud, stay clear!
