I received a rather suspicious message from what appeared to be a bank security notification. It stated that my card had been limited due to 'security concerns' and featured a dodgy link. Definitely smells like a scam to me!

Received a message from the number (410) 200-501, claiming to be from U.S. B.A.N.K. They left a call-back number: (866) 646-6813 and mentioned something about "250SECURITY-DEPARTMENT." Quite baffling, as I don’t have any sort of account with US Bank whatsoever!

Received a notification regarding an unauthorised charge from a Wells Fargo Visa. The thing is, I don't even possess a Wells Fargo card! I did click on a "download" link, and then I was confronted with some Chinese text accompanied by an image of a posh car wheel. Now I'm left worrying about whether my information has been compromised.

I got a message that was complete nonsense, urging me to 'click here' to supposedly update Facebook's latest terms of service by the 28th of May. The link was an absurdly lengthy jumble of random letters and numbers. It's clear this is a dodgy scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and reported it as well!

I received a message from this number the other day. Curiosity got the better of me, so I hopped on my computer to check out the site mentioned, Wulkan.co.tz/folview. Received a message from [email protected] claiming there’s a problem with their purchase system. The link they provided (http://kys1st3malert.com) seems dodgy, so I decided against clicking it. Plus, I’m not even a customer of US Bank! Definitely a message to disregard and block!

Up to this point, I've had a couple of messages come through. The first one urged me to get in touch with PNC Bank, claiming they were freezing all accounts. The second message was about a transfer from Western Union, detailing the process for how to claim the funds. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I recently got a rather dodgy text message that raised my eyebrows. It read: “FRM:[email protected] MSG: Your Citi Profile Is Inactive, Use Your Personal Address To Resolve This Issue, Visit https://online.citi.com.cyberideaz.com”. Now here’s the kicker-I don’t even hold an account with Citi! So, I promptly binned the message and blocked the number. Cheers for the heads-up, though!
