Got a text saying it was from AT&T about a failed payment, telling me to ring 9312863084. The message was something like "FRM:AT&T" and it came through at six in the morning. There’s a few red flags here - for starters, AT&T usually uses my full name, never just "SUBJ" or "FROM" like that, which seemed weird. Also, AT&T wouldn't be sending texts that early at 6 am, and their contact numbers in texts are always shorter, usually under eight digits, not a full ten. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

So this number sent me a dodgy text earlier today. I decided to mess about on their site by entering rubbish details over and over. I even threw in some rude comments as the info, and when they wanted my phone number, I gave them a bunch of other scammer’s numbers instead. Haha, serves them right!

Got a text saying my Wells Fargo account’s been suspended. It told me to fix things by clicking a link: http://htwyjoj.com. Obviously seemed dodgy to me.

Got a message saying my accounts were put on hold and I needed to do something to fix it right away. It came from "AccRestore" with a subject of "PNCTeam." The note told me to go to a link like https.MyPNCcom.resto51.jnrcln.icu/ to restore access. Felt off to me, so I didn’t click it. Pretty sure it’s a scam trying to trick people. Anyone else get this dodgy text?

I just received a message claiming my account got locked because of a security issue, with a link to visit. Thing is, I've never had an account with them at all. Definitely a scam. Honestly, these fraudsters should be put to an end!

Got a weird text on my mobile earlier today saying something like "FRMms SUBJ: they didn't like it MyMSG: http://7ij1M.f3i.dq-9.com" with a "tap to load preview" option. I didn't click or respond at all... I'd avoid clicking that link if I were you, no clue where it goes but probably nothing safe. I marked it as spam straight away.

Got a call saying it was from Amex, told me there was some kind of hacking on my account. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a message saying our account was being hacked and they could spy on us, all that nonsense. The weird thing is, we don’t even have that type of account they claim they broke into. Just ignored it, what a load of rubbish!

I got this message just a few hours after I put up my listing on Craigslist: "FRM: stephen bent MSG: Is your Handmade Farmhouse Table for $1200 still on the market? Let me know asap if it is." Quite quick!

I keep getting loads of texts from different numbers, and this one really confused me... what on earth? It came from Savannah Prather, saying something about an "Impactinternational Affirmation" with a weird link: http://kgmzgvp.me/EUuOw. Who even is this for? Definitely seems dodgy to me.
