Got two calls with numbers that were nearly the same, both linked to the same website. When I clicked, there was some kind of “warning” pop-up, so I just closed it straight away. Both calls tried to send me to porn sites.

Got a text from 01410100014 saying "Can you be a remote personal assistant? Part-time... reply YES for info." I replied YES just to see what it was about. Next, a message popped up from 1410200513, this one from a Ronnie Weathersby who seemed very keen to get in touch. He gave a long intro about his role and detailed what he expected from the personal assistant, especially mentioning lots of bookkeeping. I was suspicious almost straight away, so I replied saying I wasn’t interested. I even told them straight up that they must have the wrong person, as I’m an elderly lady with dementia and no control over my finances, completely incapable of all that work.

About three days ago, a number popped up (713) 226-5543. I usually don’t pick up calls from strangers, so I let it go to voicemail. The message left was some sort of weird Chinese nonsense. When the same thing happened the day after, I finally called back and ended up speaking to a guy called Ed Cueva. I left a voicemail for him, but no reply. Instead, another call came the following day. I wasn’t in the mood to chat, but from what I could tell, this Ed was registered to a business called Cherokee Plains Investment Co, somewhere in Houston, Texas. I’ve been leaving continuous messages in his voicemail just for laughs. Wish I’d saved them to share here. Then today, another call came in from someone named Alo Nu pitching some gig about slapping Crayola banners on my car. Honestly, I wouldn’t even wear a Harley Davidson T-shirt, nevermind turn my car into a mobile advert! No thanks, I’m definitely not their walking billboard.

A couple of minutes ago, I got a text on my spare mobile from this number. The notification showed up on my screen without me even opening it - it said something like "FRM: william tho" and then just "Good morning". When I heard the alert, I opened my phone and saw the message. I quickly jumped on this site to look up the number, and from what I found out, it’s a scam. I really hope it doesn't mess with my other phone at all. I just deleted the message right away.
