I received a message from 01410100014, sent by someone named Elisa White, inquiring if I might consider a position as a remote personal assistant on a part-time basis. The text prompted me to respond with a 'YES' for further information. Upon my affirmative reply, I got a follow-up from 1410200513, where a chap named Ronnie Weathersby expressed his excitement in connecting with me. He provided an overview of his role and shared a fair amount of information regarding the responsibilities of the personal assistant, placing particular emphasis on bookkeeping tasks. However, I noticed a few warning signs and decided to send a polite but firm reply indicating that I wasn’t interested. I pointed out that they were engaging with a somewhat confused elderly individual who had no capacity to manage her finances or undertake the responsibilities they outlined.
