I had a rather pushy caller who refused to disclose any details regarding their so-called claim. They lacked even a hint of friendliness, which was quite off-putting. Calling them a scammer hardly does justice; they felt more like an outright thief trying to catch me off guard. Unfortunately, my Android device doesn't seem to have the option to block these sorts of calls (yet it allows me to block texts just fine!). Had pretty much the same thing happen to me. The bloke asked me to say who I was first. I asked him what the call was about. He then said he couldn’t tell me unless I confirmed who I was. I told him again that I wanted to know the reason for the call before saying anything else. He just said “We could keep going like this forever so I’ll let you get on with it.” Clearly just some nuisance, so I'll block the number and advise anyone else getting this kind of call to do likewise.
