A claims company phoned me, asking if I’d ever taken out an endowment policy. When I told them no, they then wanted to know if I was on a repayment or interest-only mortgage. Once they found out I had a repayment mortgage, they seemed to run out of things to sell me and started asking about any bank charges I pay. They’d probably have kept going if I hadn’t just ended the call. The caller was quite polite though, just a bloke stuck doing a rubbish job for a dodgy firm.
