Today, I received a rather odd call from a chap claiming to be from a "housing association." He proceeded to grill me with inquiries that struck me as rather invasive. Honestly, I can’t shake the feeling that this is some sort of con job.

beware, they’ll ask you to put in at least £250 to buy shares, but chances are you’ll just end up losing everything you put in.

I've had some calls from individuals claiming to be with a housing disrepair team, stating that my local council has reached out regarding leaks in my council flat. The thing is, I don't even reside in a council property at all! It's all rather perplexing, really.

Upon picking up the phone, I discovered it was the housing team on the other end. When I inquired about the specific address they were curious about, they simply replied with my current residence. I pressed them for the exact location they were investigating, but to my surprise, they ended the call abruptly. As for the details regarding Yasir Anjum, who was listed as the director of Ecore Host, the company appears to have been a private limited entity based in Kings Cross, London. Established on 22nd April 2020, it was dissolved by September 28, 2021. The company, however, didn't have an establishment in the UK, and although it had some appointments, it was never put into liquidation.
