I received a rather dubious call claiming to be from the "phone company" collaborating with "Three". They were trying to persuade me to switch to a cheaper SIM plan. I nearly fell for it, but as soon as I began to provide my name, their impatience became quite evident. I suspect they wouldn't even have got my name right and would have likely taken umbrage if I attempted to clarify. So, I swiftly terminated the call and blocked their number. Almost immediately, I started receiving calls from several other numbers, including '0114 356 0016' and '0114 356 0004', which were promptly blocked as well.

I've been receiving roughly three calls daily from this number-01388212016. Each time, they purport to represent Carphone Warehouse. I've made it clear that I'm not interested and promptly disconnected the call. Today, I reiterated my request for my number to be taken off their list, emphasising that the constant calling is bordering on harassment. The chap on the other end, who had quite an unconvincing accent, then started prying for my name. I firmly told him I wouldn't reveal any personal details, but he carried on with a vague spiel about working for someone whose name I couldn't catch. To my utter disbelief, he suggested he could procure anything I desired, and then he bizarrely asked if I wanted a "big d**k"! He kept droning on about it, which was just unbelievable, so I ended the call rather swiftly.
