I picked up the phone and heard a prerecorded voice claiming my internet provider was hacked and linked to numerous computers globally. The message, supposedly from an Asian woman named 'Shirley', warned my broadband would be cut off in a day and told me to press '1' to talk to a technician. I've blocked the number straight away. Pretty clear scam - don’t hand over any personal info to these lot.
