I received a rather alarming call today from someone claiming to be with BT, insisting that my internet is under attack. What raised my eyebrows further was the fact that he knew my address! He had quite a strong accent, which seemed to be of Asian or Indian origin. When I mentioned I would be contacting my actual broadband provider-who isn't BT-he abruptly hung up. Very suspicious indeed!
