Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming someone tried to hack my internet. She even named the right internet company. But as soon as I told her I don’t actually have internet service, she just dropped the call. Pretty suspicious!

Received a call from someone claiming to be Talk Talk about problems on my PC, said there were loads of errors and offered to send a replacement router. The bloke, called Alex, asked for my Talk Talk account number, which struck me as odd since Talk Talk never asks for that over the phone. I rang the official Talk Talk number to double check, and they confirmed it was a scam. The scammer kept the line open longer while I was reporting him. These Talk Talk fraudsters are just trying to swipe your bank details. Make sure you report it to the police!
