9 yearsI got a call from a guy with an asian accent claiming he was from BT. I kept asking him what the call was about but he just kept repeating the same thing louder each time, like 4 times in total. On the fifth time, he got angry, swore at me and told me to f - off before hanging up. I then checked 1471 for the last number and it was 01372562493. Tried calling that number back but it says incoming calls barred. Is there any way I can report this to Ofcom? My phone number’s 0141 573 5521, and my name is George Adam. Cheers.BTOfcomGeorge Adam9 yearsHad a call recently from this very number, a woman said she was from TalkTalk but she wasn’t exactly convincing. She wanted to take control of my internet and computer, and the moment she didn’t ask for the account holder at my ISP I knew she was dodgy. If you get a ring from this number, or any starting with 0137, I’d recommend blocking it or just ignoring it altogether. It’s definitely a trick to steal your personal info and probably run up some kind of scam payments - I’ve seen this sort of scam going around before.TalkTalkService9 yearsSome bloke with an Asian accent called, claiming to be from TalkTalk, which I don’t even use. As soon as I told him TalkTalk isn't my provider, he just cut off the call before I could respond.TalkTalk9 yearsThis bloke claimed he was with BT Openreach and told me my internet was going to be disconnected in about 20 days. I told him I get calls like this every day, but usually, they say they're from TalkTalk. He started getting a bit annoyed, so I just ended the call. Didn’t pick up any more after that, just now waiting for a call from the hospital.BT OpenreachTalkTalk9 yearsGot a call from 01372937545, sounded like an Indian bloke claiming to be from BT Openreach. He was going on about some yellow alerts linked to my company lasting two weeks. I could hear a proper call centre racket in the background. Didn’t bother with him, just told him to do one and leave me alone. He hung up right after.BT OpenreachSubmit Your Own Report (01372 937545)
