Received a couple of calls just before 7:30 this morning, one at about 7:17. I must say, I was quite taken aback and just hung up the phone. With elderly family members to think about, it’s a bit unsettling when the landline rings at such an early hour, especially as I hardly ever use it.

This morning, I received two calls from someone purporting to be from BT. Now, considering I run a studio line for a radio station, I thought it might be fun to invite them on-air for a little chat. But wouldn’t you know it? They ended the call promptly! Quite amusing, really!

Received a cheeky call bright and early at 8:20 this morning from some bloke claiming to be from BT technical support, insisting our internet was set to be disconnected today. He wanted to know if I was aware of it. I simply hung up before he could ramble on any further. Funny thing is, we don’t even get our phone or internet from BT, so it was clear as day—it was nothing but a scam!

Due to the countless annoying calls I've been receiving, I've taken to letting the answering machine field them. It’s quite amusing, really; they almost always hang up. When I attempted to return the call to what appeared to be a local number, all I got was that irritating unobtainable signal. Definitely a scam, without a doubt!

Today, I received a phone call from a woman with a foreign accent, claiming to be from BT's technical support. I couldn’t resist asking if she was about to feed me a bunch of nonsense, and right after that, she hung up! Quite the amusing encounter, to say the least.

I had quite the unpleasant experience with BT's tech support. After expressing my frustration and telling them to take a hike, they just wouldn’t let it go and kept ringing me back, hurling all sorts of abuse. It's simply ridiculous!

S#cm rang me yet again, but all I got was a dead air at the end of the line, only some woman's voice uttering a final message. I confirmed that my phone's blocking feature was operational. Honestly, it feels pointless relying on blokes like him; it seems they're driven more by profit than genuine concern.

Just had a call from someone claiming to be from the BT tech support team, but honestly, their English was atrocious! I couldn’t help but chuckle and then promptly ended the call. These pesky scammers really get on my nerves. I mean, who in their right mind would still be gullible enough to fall for such a ruse at this stage? It's baffling!

Here we go again with yet another one of those "your internet service will be terminated" calls from BT! I've already had a couple this morning before 9:20, and each time it's a different name, waffling on like there's no tomorrow. I’ve come to the conclusion that any unknown number contacting me about my phone or internet services is likely a scam, and I haven’t been proven wrong yet after countless encounters with these chaps. It baffles me how they seem to hire so many folks with such peculiar accents and ever-changing names. Fingers crossed they run out of luck soon, and we can finally enjoy some peace!

Utterly dodgy! They'll lock your machine and expect you to fork out a small fortune just to regain access. If you can, try to keep them on the line as long as possible. It could waste their time and potentially safeguard a vulnerable person from losing their hard-earned cash. Total scam, no question about it!

Received a call from this number just after seven this morning. The voice on the other end had an accent and inquired if I was a certain name. I responded in the affirmative, and then they abruptly ended the call. I was still in my pyjamas and dashed to answer, which isn’t great for my heart condition. I reckon they ought to be reported for this behaviour!

I received a call from this number early today, right around 7 a.m. A voice with a foreign accent asked for someone specific. I confirmed that was me, and then they promptly ended the call. I was still in bed, and it got me all flustered, which isn't ideal given my heart condition. I really think these sorts of calls should be dealt with legally.

I received a call from a foreign gentleman who seemed quite savvy with tech. It quickly became evident he was up to no good, so I ended the conversation and blocked the number. They can be quite dodgy, and you can never trust them from the outset.

Today, I've been targeted with three calls from the same chap of Asian descent. He obviously didn't catch on that he'd already given me a ring, but I recognised his voice straight away! Each time, his pitch involved trying to persuade me to grant him access to my computer because, apparently, it had been compromised! It's quite odd how persistent they can be!

I’m with everyone on this. What’s more, I’ve noticed a peculiar thing: right after receiving these calls—whether I pick up or not—my internet seems to cut out for a brief spell. Surely that can't just be a coincidence? It's baffling! What are the authorities up to regarding these nefarious types?

Received a couple of calls on the 31st of October, and then yet another at 7:30 this morning, all claiming to represent BT and insisting there’s an issue with our internet service. I pointed out that I had already dealt with similar calls twice before, and promptly ended the conversation while he was mid-sentence. I've decided to report this number to Action Fraud.

Received a rather dodgy call from someone with an Asian accent who claimed my internet would be switched off today. He implied that I was already aware of the reason behind it, which was quite baffling! Clearly a ruse to fish for my personal information or gain access to my computer. I wasn’t having any of it, so I told him I was onto his tricks and hung up.

I received quite a shock when I confronted him about the obvious scam. Instead of ending the call, he became utterly irate! I couldn’t help but chuckle, asking whether anyone still believed that flimsy ruse. His tirade of curses was quite the spectacle; it made for a rather entertaining exchange. I truly relished having the chance to engage with SEAN.

Claimed to be calling from BT, clearly a fraudulent attempt. I told them to hold on for a moment as I went to fetch my husband. They stayed on the line for roughly three minutes, probably until it dawned on them that they'd been outsmarted.

I've received an odd call from someone with a noticeable Asian accent, and their English wasn't great. They claimed to be from BT, stating that my internet line has a virus and needed to be turned off for a fortnight. It's all rather suspicious if you ask me!

This morning at around half past nine, I received a call purportedly from BT Technical Support. It was quite clear to me that it was a fraudulent call, so I decided to terminate the conversation promptly. Interestingly, the same number rang me again a quarter of an hour later, but I chose not to answer. They didn’t leave any voicemail, so I’ve taken the precaution of blocking the number.

Received a call from someone with an accent distinctively Asian, cheerfully greeting me with a "good morning" around a quarter past seven! I didn't engage any further and promptly ended the call, followed by blocking the number.

Earlier, I received a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. She warned me that my internet connection was about to be terminated. When I inquired for clarity, she seemed to struggle with the line, repeating "Hello? Hello?" before abruptly ending the call. Since then, there's been no follow-up from her, and I've taken the precaution of blocking the number.

Watch out for scams! I received a call claiming to be from BT asking for permission to access my computer. The caller couldn't even provide my name or any relevant information. I firmly told him where to go and hung up immediately.

I too got a rather dubious call indicating that my internet service was about to be terminated. When I responded with a bit of sarcasm, the caller had the audacity to hurl an insult my way! It’s evidently just another scam fishing for unsuspecting victims.

They gave me a ring just after eight o'clock this morning. There was a rather lengthy pause before they finally said anything. I asked them, "Who is this?" but got no response. Then, out of nowhere, the line just went dead. Quite dodgy, if you ask me. I even mentioned that I might have to alert the authorities!

I received a call that got cut off, so I decided to hang about for a bit, just in case they tried to ring back. In the meantime, I sorted out some pesky computer troubles, so it wasn't a complete loss. However, they never did get back in touch.
