I received a rather alarming call from a woman claiming that my BT line was compromised by some sort of virus. She then asked for my personal details to supposedly access my system. Honestly, it feels quite perilous to share any information over the phone like that. I've heard numerous stories of similar situations turning out to be scams!

I've received several calls mentioning that my internet service would be interrupted. The caller was a gentleman of Asian descent.

Received a call claiming to be from BT, insisting that I needed to download an app immediately or else my Wi-Fi service would be terminated. I didn't comply with their request, so I'm pretty certain it was just a scam.

Received a call purporting to be from BT, alleging there was an issue with my internet that was somehow letting a virus in. I pointed out that it sounded like a scam, and he promptly hung up on me.

Received a call purporting to be from BT regarding our internet service. When I inquired about verifying their identity, they suddenly hung up. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a couple of phone calls this morning, one at 7:20 and the other at 8:35. The individuals on the line both seemed to be from an Asian background, claiming they were with BT and needed to discuss a computer issue I supposedly have. I informed them that I'm in my eighties and expressed how utterly disgraceful it is for them to disturb the public in such a way. Pathetic!

My phone went off incessantly at half seven this morning. I chose not to pick up, and after perusing the remarks left by others, I’m rather relieved I kept it that way!

Received a call at 8 in the morning. I answered but chose to remain silent, and shortly after, they disconnected the line.

A person purporting to be from BT got in touch, alleging there's an issue with our router, but I decided to terminate the call.
