I get calls from this number almost every single day, and sometimes even several times throughout the day.

I've got spam safeguards set up on my phone. On the 28th of April at around 5:40 PM, my device alerted me with a message saying 'Possible Scam' and prompted me to block the number, so I chose not to pick up. Subsequently, I blocked that number. However, it attempted to reach me again on the 3rd of May at approximately 5:18 PM. The number was identified, but luckily, it didn’t ring since it was already blocked.

Got a call from this number a few days back. They were talking about some energy update or something. When I said I wasn’t moving anywhere, they just ended the call. Reading other reviews about this number makes me think it’s probably a scam. Also, the voice on the phone didn’t sound Scottish at all, which you’d expect if it was really from Elgin.

I picked up a call yesterday from someone claiming to be from an energy supplier asking if I owned the house. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. They tried ringing me again today but I just ignored it. When I looked back at my recent calls, they’d actually tried calling me at least five times. After reading other people's comments here, I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be Martin Leadbetter, saying it wasn’t a cold call because someone supposedly told him to get in touch about something to do with the house, like double glazing. I asked if we had actually requested the call, and if not, how it could possibly not be a cold call. He then got really rude and just hung up on me. Definitely a cold call, trying to sell stuff we never wanted, maybe even worse than that.

Got a ring from someone called Martin Leadbetter on 01343 590092, saying it wasn’t a cold call and talking about energy deals in our area. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he just kept going on. When I said I was ending the call, he cut me off straight away without even a thank you or goodbye. Proper rude behaviour. Watch out for this number - either don’t pick up or just hang up quick.

I got a call from someone named Martin Leadbetter who was talking about cutting down energy use in my area since it’s apparently a place with high consumption. He asked if I owned my house, if I had double-glazed windows, and whether I could get into the loft. I mentioned the loft’s already insulated and got boards put down. Then he asked if I knew what kind of insulation it was, I said no, but it’s pretty thick. After that, he just said cheers and ended the call!

I received a rather dubious call earlier on. Apparently, the council had been instructed by some energy firms to ring residents regarding their energy consumption, and mine is apparently quite high compared to others in the neighbourhood! The caller was probing for all sorts of personal details-like how many occupants are in my home, whether I work remotely, and other intrusive queries that felt rather dodgy. I firmly told him to clear off!

He even inquired if I had double glazing, claiming he was conducting a survey for my energy company to investigate why residents in my area were consuming more energy than elsewhere in the country. Somebody rang me saying they were from "my energy provider" trying to figure out why houses round here use loads more energy than anywhere else in the UK. They said it wasn’t a cold call, but it really was since I never asked for the chat.
